THE HIDDEN JEWEL OF BAKER STREET. I rarely find the need to write on these websites - however having visited W55 when it first opened and having experienced somewhat slow service at the time - I now feel obliged to share my new overwhelmingly positive recent experiences... Firstly, W55 is gorgeous.... the perfect 'chill-out' restaurant...The food is superb and the funky tapas style menu means you can have something light or a full meal - depending on your mood...Everything comes beautifully presented and the waiters are always smiling and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I went with some friends in the evening and we share some nice tapas with some wine to start at the bar. The night went and we finish by having dinner in the restaurant. My personal experience was great, with nice food and a good wine ion. The sommelier suggested a nice red from Gloucestershire a discovery for us. I will recommend it to my friends. Nice to be away from the crowded Oxford Street...
