Simple seasonal cooking is the main focus at Villandry with a twice daily changing restaurant menu, and includes seasonal favourites with a proper Modern British influence, including whole grilled Mersea lobster with chips and aioli; Seafood bruschetta with basil and saffron oil in the summer; Pan fried foie gras, shredded duck, frisée & walnut salad, Roast goose breast with parsnip puree, red cabbage & red wine sauce in the winter; and Pear semifreddo with warm chocolate sauce.
