London’s hip Marylebone village is the location for the elegant restaurant Trishna, a fashionable and very upmarket Indian restaurant specialising on Indian seafood dishes. Designed by B3 interior designers, the look is minimalist and clean with stunning marble, smoked oak, brickwork and glass. There is also a small terrace for alfresco dining during the summer. Named after the original Trishna restaurant in Mumbai, the London branch offers a menu full of enticing Indian delights, with strong emphasis on India’s coastal cuisine. Try the whole crab in a buttery garlic and peppercorn sauce or a delicious seafood biryani. If you fancy some meat, the grilled lamb cutlets with tangy mustard seed salad are a must. Trishna may be upmarket and super stylish but it is an informal restaurant to dine in with a great buzzy ambience and really offers a great insight into Indian coastal cooking.
