As for the food, innovative catering company Harbour & Jones have designed a superb British menu featuring some of the best ingredients found in the Isles. You may start with something like brown Jersey butter seared rabbit loin with celeriac and sorrel followed by Cornish black bream fillet, spring greens, lemon and anchovy butter or Sussex pork belly, apple and parsnip purée and cider leeks. The fixed price lunch at £16 for two courses or £20 for 3 is a steal considering the quality of the food. Stop by for a traditional afternoon tea after a wander around the cathedral and enjoy homemade scones, clotted cream and preserve along with delicate sandwiches and cakes.
