The 10 Cases is a wonderfully charming addition to the restaurant scene in London’s Covent Garden, serving a daily changing menu of superb Modern European cuisine in chic bistro style surroundings. The first venture of restaurateurs Will Palmer and Ian Campbell, The 10 Cases restaurant and wine bar is named after their original and very clever concept of only stocking 10 cases of red and white wines at any one time, all available by the bottle, glass or carafe. The list is predominantly old world and changes regularly, meaning there is always something new to try. And best of all, the fair mark-up policy means that prices are exceptionally reasonable too. As for the food, check out the chalk boards featuring the brilliant Modern European menu created by ex Coq D’Argent Chef Juette Shallow. The menu changes on a daily basis and offers a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts. Expect dishes such as snails on toast to start followed by Barnsley lamb chops or stuffed grey mullet and white chocolate cheesecake or pear and almond tart to finish. With no minimum spend or deposit required, the private dining room is ideal for more intimate events. The 10 Cases is a superb Covent Garden restaurant and is perfect for any kind of dining occasion, from pre and post theatre dining to a business lunch or romantic date to a meal with friends and family.
