After having gained a Michelin star at his superb Cumbrian restaurant L’Enclume, Simon Rogan returns to London with his two year pop up restaurant Roganic. Situated in the heart of fashionable Marylebone, Roganic is certainly creating excitement amongst London’s serious foodies, offering a divine seasonal British menu full of imagination and skill. It’s all about the food at this understated, simple looking dining room, where an array of exciting, fresh and innovative ingredients are used to produce the most mouth-watering of dishes. Headed up by Head Chef Ben Spalding, the Roganic kitchen serves up 6 or 10 course lunches and dinners, each menu beautifully balanced in favour, colour and texture. Expect dishes such as Rose veal cooked in buttermilk with cobnuts, Savoy and mead sauce and seawater cured Kentish mackerel with orache, broccoli and warm elderflower honey followed by desserts such as white chocolate sorbet with rapeseed, plum and meadowsweet or warm spiced bread with salted almonds, buckthorn curd and smoked clotted cream. A true taste of the country has arrived in the city with the outstanding Roganic restaurant.
