Roast Restaurant London overlooks the wonderful Borough Market with its spectacular organic food stalls selling everything wonderful & edible. Roast Restaurant's mission is to prove that British food has a place on the International stage. And of course the team at Roast Restaurant has more than succeeded by offering the best of the country's seasonal produce and by placing emphasis on sourcing and provenance of produce, many of which come directly from the market. Roast Restaurant proudly displays its breads, cheeses and seafood and the spit roasting oven is certainly a focal point. On Roast's menu you can expect dishes, such as bubble & squeak with a poached duck egg, braised rabbit with black pudding & mustard and sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce. Even for the drinks menu, Roast Restaurant have managed to source the best of British with English wines, British whiskeys, gins, sherries and of course beers and ales. They even produce some fantastic seasonal cocktails, using many of the ingredients they use in the cooking & the results are quite astounding. This is a restaurant for your 'must' list, particularly if you want to experience some serious British cuisine. The weekends are rammed, so be sure to book well ahead if you want to guarantee a table.

Great restaurant, great food, great service. Really like the airy space at Roast and the British food was superb. It isn't a cheap restaurant but the experience is first rate and worth every penny.
