The quality of the classic French menu never falters and each and every dish is a skilful masterpiece such as the slow braised pied de cochon pressed then pan fried with ham knuckle and served with poached quail’s egg and hollandaise sauce or the roasted fillet of line caught turbot with langoustines, linguine and wild mushrooms. The wine cellar boasts a breathtaking collection of wines with some superb Bordeaux vintages and rare bottles from Burgundy and the Rhône and there is a separate list for the 72 champagnes and sparkling wines.
