Well known for her numerous TV appearances, Silvena Rowe has launched her very own restaurant in London’s Mayfair Hotel by the name of Quince. Formerly executive chef of the Baltic Restaurant Group, Bulgarian born Rowe is highly respected in the industry for her exciting Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Quince is based in one of London’s swankiest hotels, The Mayfair Hotel, and is a sumptuous restaurant courtesy of designer Martin Brudnizki. Rich warm tones, silk wall coverings, leather upholstery and stunning antique mirrors create an alluring space in which to indulge in an exquisite menu which embraces traditional Ottoman ingredients and recipes alongside modern ideas and features many dishes from her recent cookbook. Tuck dishes such as into king prawns with pomegranate butter and anise flowers; Ottoman spiced lamb cutlets with tahini and black truffle; grilled golden five spiced halibut with flowers and green harissa and lamb and beef skewers served with spinach tzatziki.
