Pearl is a glamorous new destination restaurant and bar from the creative team who designed Nobu and the Metropolitan. Carrying the heritage of its past into new glamour, the name Pearl is inspired by its original site as the former banking hall of the Pearl Assurance Building. The stunning and timeless surroundings are complimented with the menu specially created by Jun Tanaka, a chef with a wealth of experience in London's top restaurants (Le Gavroche, Chez Nico and Marco Pierre White's restaurant Harvey's to name but a few). Like Pearl with its heritage and contemporary design, the foundation of Jun's cuisine is classic French but has modern and light touches. He is a firm believer in using the best ingredients in season. Pearl also boasts some superb bottles of wine on its list and offers 40 of them by the glass, thanks to a special "Cruvinet System" which allows the wine to stay fresh for up to five weeks after opening. With Pearl's scent and wanly décor, illuminated by spectacular pearl chandeliers with "trails" of real pearls, Pearl Restaurant & Bar is certainly a restaurant of distinction.

Pearl restaurant is a very special restaurant and should be visited for special occasions. Very romantic and the service and the food are exquisite. The prix fixe special was a very good deal and the choices were good. The restaurant, however, has an impressive wine ion and a very good sommelier, so that the savings on food with the special are quickly forgotten when you start ordering wines. Very highly recommended

We had a fantastic lunch at Pearl. Excellent value for money. Most certainly an experience and staff were friendly. The food was divine. Every course was better than the last. Most certainly go back. All credit to the chef and staff

My favourite restaurant! The food is always beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The staff are very friendly, efficient, and helpful, and it is obvious that they too love the food at Pearl. It isn't cheap, but it's definitely great value for money. Highly recommended.
