Highly rated for their dim sum, which is very reasonable, this really is a little pearl in what's euphemistically described at a 'breathtaking new development' in Paddington.

Pearl Liang is a world of its own. Understated modern decor creates an elegant ambiance where creative interpretations of Chinese seafood and dim sum meet a superb wine list. The freshest ingredients combine with meticulous preparation and presentation to make Pearl Liang a distinctive gourmet experience. Dim sum are a speciality at Pearl Liang and come at a prices reminiscent of Chinatown, and up to the same standards as the best operators there. Larger dishes - such as Peking Duck, steamed sea bass or scallops, stir-fried lobster, deep fried soft shell crab & BBQ pork ribsare all superb too, but it seems that Pearl Liang is particularly well famed for its seafood dishes. This classy, contemporary Chinese restaurant creates an authentically Oriental vibe with water features, bamboo and a room-length painting of Chinese blossom branches. The interior of the restaurant gives the feeling of no expense spared. Powdery pink and mauve colours and soft seating make it flattering and comfortable and the space is divided in such a way as to give areas of intimacy. Pearl Liang is well worth the short walk from Paddington station for anyone either meeting clients off the Heathrow Express or who's simply after some above-par Chinese cooking.

Wow!!...Just been to Pearl Liang and have to say, it's by far the best Chinese restaurant in London. Far better than Hakassan & much better value. The food was seriously top notch & you can tell this is a well respected restaurant by the amount of Chinese people dining there. Fantastic in every sense!!
