Cool and funky Japanese restaurant Oishii Japanese Eatery is taking Stoke Newington by storm

Stoke Newington’s Church Street in North East London proudly boasts it’s very first Japanese restaurant in Oishii Japanese Eatery, the latest venture from local businessman Atique Choudhury, owner of Yum Yum and Mercado. Oishii means delicious in Japanese, and that’s exactly how one would describe the fine Japanese cuisine served at this funky eatery. Cool and colourful interiors set the scene which includes a ten seater circular open plan sushi kitchen and a private Japanese karaoke room for 20, all designed by Nattapon Kanokvaleewong and Phakwimon Kunkongkaphan from Central St. Martins College. The menu features all the classic sushi, sashimi and tempura dishes as well as a wide choice of Japanese dishes and bento boxes. Attracting a good mix of locals and business folk with its great food and relaxing atmosphere, Oishii Japanese Eatery is a welcome addition to this area of London and the karaoke room is proving to be a real crowd pleaser.
