Considered as one of London’s most exclusive and finest restaurants, Nobu – Berkeley Street in Mayfair is at the pinnacle of glamourous London dining. This fabulously fashionable Japanese restaurant is the younger sibling of the original Michelin starred Nobu London on Park Lane and followed swiftly in its footsteps, gaining a Michelin star just 5 months after its opening back in 2006. Beautifully designed by “man of the moment” interior designer David Collins, Nobu – Berkeley Street has played host to some incredibly glamourous parties and events, with all the big names in the world of celebrity have attended. The restaurant itself is a stunning space, catering for 200 covers and boasts a 12 seater sushi bar to one side of the dining room and a 12 seater Hibachi table at the other as well as a relaxed lounge bar, licensed until 2am. As for the food, expect only the very finest Japanese cuisine with a menu created by Nobu Matsuhisa and Executive Chef Mark Edwards. Dishes include Wagyu rump tataki with dried white miso and secreto Iberico pork with spicy Ponzu both prepared on the wood fired oven or the amazing black cod or king crab tempura. Nobu – Berkeley Street is one very special London restaurant indeed and has the price tag to match!
