My Old Dutch – Chelsea is a pancake lover’s dream restaurant, situated along London’s famous King’s Road in Chelsea. Part of the My Old Dutch restaurant group who founded its very first restaurant back in 1958, My Old Dutch – Chelsea is a friendly and buzzing eatery, particularly popular amongst families with children. You can sample all sorts of pancakes or “ Pannekoeks” as they are known as in Holland, with a vast selection of tasty savoury choices and an equally vast selection of sweet options. The My Old Dutch Savoury, for example, consists of smoked bacon, chicken, ham, sweet peppers, mushrooms, sweet corn and cheese whilst a sweet option would be the compote of berries with cream or ice cream. Aside from the pancakes, there are plenty of tasty salads and some great starters like the Kaasballen (deep fried balls of mozzarella and cheddar cheese with onion and breadcrumbs) to choose from. Wash your food down with a fine continental beer such as Amstel, Grolsch or Hoegaarden as well as a selection of fruit beers ranging from strawberry to cranberry to passion fruit.
