Lost Society is Clapham's most dazzling late-night bar & restaurant. Lost Society is a unique and beautiful venue housed in a former two storey barn, dating back to the sixteenth century. There are three areas dedicated to dining including the The Conservatory, The Oriental Lounge and the Black and White Room, as well as The Crystal Ballroom. Crystal chandeliers drip from the ceilings & an eclectic collection of gloriously barmy knick knacks line shelves, from gramophones to bird cages. When it comes to the restaurant expect to find ‘40s gentlemen's club meets lady's boudoir, the perfect accompaniment to a menu of innovative modern European food to excite the senses and impress even the most jaded palatte. Signature dishes include confit of guinea fowl and duck terrine with gooseberry chutney and toast or grilled aubergine marinated in anis star with anchovies, mozzarella and confit of tomato petals with lobster oil dressing to start, followed by grilled halibut on potato and cabbage hash cake with cêpes sauce or risotto of chestnut, Chinese artichoke and spinach with truffle oil and parmesan shavings. Service is friendly & welcoming and prices are extremely reasonable. Catering for modern tastes, modern standards and modern manners, Lost Society still manages to capture the flavour of its historical past and as, such, is one of the most unique evening venues in London.

Lost Society was a brilliant restaurant. The food was great as to was the service. The waiters always went the extra mile to make your evening better, without going over the top and in your face. One waiter overheard me say to my girlfriend that it was her birthday and organised a special desert for her without my asking which topped the night off. I would highly reccommend this restaurant, brilliant for an after dinner drink too.
