Lola & Simon is a lovely cosy international style restaurant located in Hammersmith, London that brings together fantastic food and an unpretentious wine list in an elegant way. Owned by couple Kirsten and Nico, from Argentina and New Zealand respectively, the restaurant is cutely named after their two dogs Lola and Simon and is immensely popular in this neck of the woods. Nico and Kirsten cleverly combine dishes and ingredients from their native Argentina and New Zealand to produce an exciting and innovative international menu that is currently wowing the diners of Hammersmith. Favourite dishes include the tender New Zealand lamb served with sweet potato and mint pesto, kiwi burger or the Argentinean rib eye steak served with butternut puree. Brunch is a busy time for Lola & Simon where classics such as pork and leek sandwich or smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on sourdough toast are top of the orders. As for the décor, Lola & Simon has a 70's bistro kind of chic and the ambience is casual and as friendly as can be. Lola & Simon makes a trip to Hammersmith well worth doing.
