After the outstanding success of their award winning London restaurants Arbutus and Wild Honey, dynamic duo Anthony Demetre and Will Smith present Les Deux Salons, their latest restaurant venture, located just steps from Trafalgar Square. This authentic Parisian style brasserie has only been open a short while yet has already gained positive reviews from even the most difficult to please. Located along William IV Street in Covent Garden, the restaurant is set out over two floors and boasts a fabulously Parisian style interior with leather banquettes and wooden seating; bright white linen topped tables; an abundance of tarnished mirrors hanging from crimson coloured walls and pretty globe lamps sitting atop tall brass poles. Just like its Michelin starred sister restaurants, Les Deux Salons offers exceptional yet simple cuisine in relaxed and informal surroundings. Expect classic French cooking with dishes such as ravioli of rosé veal with fresh goat’s cheese curd and Cavolo Nero or warm smoked eel with beetroot tart and horseradish cream for starters followed by roast cod with Cornish cockles, chick peas, chorizo and Pomelo or roast saddle of rabbit with Jerusalem artichoke purée, braised celery and walnuts. Les Deux Salons is another sure fire winner from one of the hottest teams in the London restaurant world, bringing an authentic slice of Paris to the capital.
