La Brasserie Mayfair is a fabulous new London restaurant from the team behind Fakhreldine, offering London’s diners a glamourous setting in which to enjoy Executive Chef Eric Paternoster’s superb Modern European menu. Situated in the very heart of exclusive Mayfair, just down the road from The Ritz, La Brasserie Mayfair combines classic and contemporary to perfection with cool black and white tones and modern furnishings. Classic French and Italian movies play on the large screen and the views over Green Park opposite are wonderful. As for the menu, Paternoster has cleverly fused flavours from countries such as France, Italy and Spain to produce an impressive menu of first class dishes. The signature dish has to be the fillet of beef served with a simple mixed salad and lemon and pepper dressing, the quality of which is sublime. Other dishes worth mentioning are the pan fried fillet of cod with leeks and a parsley sauce; the chicken paillard with spinach and roast potatoes and the superbly fresh paella with chicken, mussels, clams and squid. La Brasserie Mayfair is a great addition to London’s Piccadilly and is fast becoming a real hotspot in this part of town.

I work near La Brasserie Mayfair, and the setting has drawn my attention : it’s really lovely. So, I decided to try and I hadn’t been disaponted at all. Just one negative point : the menu is a bit too short .

Nice, fresh, quick and affordable. Give it a go. A lot of eldery people and famillies, I would recommend it especially to all people who look for a quiet dinner in relaxed ambiance.
