The third Hawksmoor restaurant to open its doors in London, Hawksmoor Guildhall brings the famously fabulous steaks to the Square Mile. After experiencing massive success with their original Seven Dials venue, the Hawksmoor team is taking every advantage of their well-deserved popularity and has hit the City of London with their outstandingly good steaks and superb wine list. Certain to be a big hit amongst the city’s suits, Hawksmoor Guidlhall is the largest of the 3 venues, encompassing bar, restaurant and private dining room. Wood panelling and spacious leather banquettes create a masculine feel in the Art Deco styled dining room, just the ticket for business lunches and dinners where the aim is to impress. The walk in wine room is superb with a lengthy list of fine wines and ports to sample. As for the menu, expect the thickest of steaks using 35 day dry aged Longhorn beef cooked on the charcoal grill or perhaps the new 6 course beef based tasting menu. Pop in for breakfast and enjoy the epic Hawksmoor breakfast for two with smoked bacon chops, trotter baked beans and shot rib bubble and squeak.
