Upon entering this stunning Gaucho restaurant, the flagship of the chain, guests are amazed by the giant tapestry that fills the hall providing a perfect backdrop to the cascading stairway that guides diners into the low-lite arches and rustic ambience of Gaucho. An intimate atmosphere is provided by the mingling of business and friendship as all enjoy the best that Argentina has to offer in the heart of the West End. Gaucho Piccadilly specialises in particularly high quality free range Argentine meat and includes mouth-watering choices like Argentine-style sausage served with crispy onion hay, pickled jalapeño and cherry mojo, a mixed grill of lamb chops, bife de cuadril, chorizo pinchos, morcilla and sweetbreads, marinated chicken dressed with chimichurri or an amazing choice of Argentine beefs cuts all cooked to perfection. This sumptuous restaurant operates alongside ‘Cavas De Gaucho' – a specialist wine boutique, an elegant ground floor wine bar and top floor ‘supper lounge' with live music and entertainment till late. We had a great time at Gaucho Grill in Piccadilly. A truly wonderful restaurant with service & food to match. The steaks were out of this world... so juicy & succulent. Thanks for a great night.

I went to Gaucho for a birthday celebration and I am so impressed with the treatment we had from the moment we walked through the impressive enterence hall to the moment we left. Not only did the team on reception wish my boyfreind a happy birthday but as we moved to our table the host on each floor repeated the salutation and our waiter brought over two glasses of Argentine champagne as we sat doun. I felt welcome and our night was amazing. The feeling is that you would be made to feel as special even if you didn't have a particulat event to celebrate. Our shared dessert was adorned with a candle, but I am sure that the cheesecake would have tasted as delicious without!!

This is the most amazing restaurant I have ever been to (not for strict vegetarians though!). I took my girlfriend for her birthday. The food was cooked to perfection, even down to the side dish of scrumptious asparagus. The meat was sublime. We were at first put off by the huge ion of wines although we decided on an Argentinian Malbec wine which was graded by it's altitude (!). We plumped for a mid altitude range and it was incredibly delicious, probably the best I have tasted. I just hope they can reproduce this every time we go!

I booked this restaurant for my first wedding anniversary. The service was fabulous from the second we walked in the door. The food they recommended brought a tear to my eye as it was so yummy. My husband has a nut allergy and the staff were wonderful about advising us on what he could eat ( which is actually quite rare). The decor was perfect, especially the cowhide walls and chairs, the wine was gorgeous and the upstairs bar was very romantic. It seems a shame to wait for a special occasion to return as I keep getting a small judder of joy when I think about the food, particularly the Churassco Chorizo steak, mmmmmm.
