With pizza restaurants on almost every London street corner and several large London pizza restaurant chains dominating the market, Fire & Stone Covent Garden hit the mark with it's very original pizza recipies and jaw-dropping, fabulous design throughout the restaurant. Pizzas are all cooked in the gigantic wood-fired oven and really look like no other you've seen. Influences range from Asia to the Americas and includes pizzas such as the New York - crispy oven roasted smoked bacon, Mozzarella, Fire & Stone's tomato sauce, garlic & rosemary roast potatoes, caramalized onion jam topped with sour cream & smoked paprika; the Peking - Chinese Hoi Sin sauce, shredded aromatic duck, Mozzarella & spring onions topped with cucumber ribbons; or the decadent Paris pizza - sliced roasted fillet of beef, creamy green peppercorn base, Mozzarella and sauteed wild mushrooms topped watercress & horseradish sauce. This fantastic pizza restaurant combines dramatic features with high levels of comfort and offers a warm welcome whatever the occasion. I took my wife to Fire & Stone for her Birthday dinner. She liked the atmosphere and the service, which were fantastic. The pizza, personally speaking, was a bit unusual compared to the one we had before. But it is the experience that counts. Everyone should try it!!

Fire & Stone is the best pizza restaurant in town, without a doubt. I used to be a Pizza Express man through & through, but not anymore. The pizzas at Fire & Stone are out of this world, with really unusual toppings and great prices. It's also an amazing looking restaurant & you know you're going to eat somewhere special as soon as you walk in. I'd really recommend the Canberra pizza, but to be honest, the 3 I've tried so far have all been fantastic. Only about another 15 or so to go!!
