Del’ Aziz – Bankside is a fabulous Eastern Mediterranean restaurant and deli found just behind the Tate Modern in London. Forming part of the small chain of highly successful Del’ Aziz restaurants in the capital, this Bankside eatery is justifiably popular. The interior dining space is shared out over two floors, the ground floor being the more spacious of the two with plenty of seating including bench like communal tables whereas the first floor is decked out in warm red tones and offers a cosier feel. Outside the al fresco terrace is divine and opens out onto a square. Here low level sofas full of exotic cushions and tables complete with shisha pipes provide a wonderfully comfy and relaxing spot to drink or dine. Del’ Aziz is open from early morning until late evening and serves up the most delicious breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinners from a wide and varied menu. The mezzes options are excellent and include dishes such as baby bell red peppers stuffed with feta and herbs or Moroccan spiced lentils with coriander dressing. If you are out with friends why not try the mixed shish platter. Del’ Aziz – Bankside is great for any occasion, and the live music and belly dancing only adds to its appeal.
