We visited the restaurant this summer. I had heard a lot about it from my friend, who had visited the one in Paris, so my fiancé and I booked the table in Dans le Noir in advance. I was worried that it would be weird and I would’t be able to manage my feelings and my senses in the dark. But once inside the restaurant, and we were welcomed by the staff and all my worries disappeared. The staff were so nice to us and asked about any food preferences or allergies I chose the fish menu and my fiancé the meat. The waitress Sarah, who was blind, was lovely. Once we were in the dark room, I realized that I couldn’t see a thing which was odd but great. The food was delicious, and it was difficult to identify exactly what we were eating. We made some assumptions but they were totally wrongJ Our waitress, Sarah, was very attentive.The wine was amazing! I can say that it is the most unique experience I’ve ever had. And my fiancé agrees with me! If you are looking for something new, for something that won’t leave you indifferent, I totally recommend you to visit Dans le Noir. I can definitely say that I will look forward to visiting it one more time!

A very strange experience that was somewhat spoilt by an idiot who thought it would be amusing to break a "stink bomb" just before the main course. Apart from that minor blip it was a very interesting and sensual experience.

The most unusual, intense and enlightening meal I have had in a long time!!! A brilliant experience! Thank you for opening my eyes... I had so much fun and could understand how different life is when you don't have the ability to see!!!
