Having been on the Clerkenwell circuit for over 10 years now, Cicada restaurant still delivers its pan Asian & Oriental cuisine with flair & imagination. Although the restaurant can be a bit on the noisy side, due to it's bad acoustics & busy bar, the food offering still gets you going back time & time again. Best is undoubtedly the chilli salt squid, always cooked to perfection & served in delicate newspaper cones, but close was the char-grilled beef teriyaki & wok fried greens. The prawn & chive dumplings are also not to be missed. Wines are decent & pretty affordable & the service is always sharp. No wonder this restaurant has been a hit for all these years!!
