CHEZ PATRICK

7 Stratford Road, London W8 6RF

Type of cuisine: French

Average price: £32.00     Nearest tube: Earls Court

Whisk yourself off to French shores with a meal at the wonderful Chez Patrick restaurant in Kensington

Situated in the heart of Kensington, Chez Patrick is a genuinely charming French restaurant that fits in perfectly with its upmarket London surroundings. Step inside this delightful neighbourhood French brasserie and you’ll be immediately transported to the tables of France with such authentic French hospitality and cuisine. The setting is pretty and simple with seaside paintings and a bright air and there is a wonderful air of informality about the place. As for the menu, classic French food is the order of the day with the focus on fresh seafood. Indulge in a starter of escargots de Bourgogne; hot goat’s cheese salad or a dish of perfectly cooked langoustines followed by grilled wild sea bass; veal kidneys in mustard sauce or a succulent Chateaubriand. The wine list stays true to France and matches the menu perfectly. It’s sometimes hard to remember you are in London when dining at Chez Patrick, such is its authenticity.

Fabulous place, the food was well prepared, fresh and plentiful, the service omnipresent without the pressure one often feel in restaurant and EXTREMELY GOOD VALUE. Very attentive staff under the watchful eye of the owner, a real character, kind, charming and witty. All in all a tremendously enjoyable evening.

We were told by friends about this place in very flattering terms. We checked it out and came out from there happy, satisfied and willing to return as soon as possible. The whole evening was a success, the food, the service, the ambience and very affordable too. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody.

What a fantastic place !! The food was great, tasty, well prepared and served with generosity..huge portion. The setting is warm, cosy, intimate. A traditional restaurant where the owner welcomes you with a big smile and make sure that you have a great time..one feels special...The service was attentive, discrete well orchestrated .A clean, streamline place,no fuss, simplicity is the key. Not only will i go back but i will encourage my friends to do so too,a hidden piece of genuine France in the heart of Kensington, without extortionate prices..all around a memorable evening.
