Carnevale is tiny but chic, vegetarian restaurant located in the City of London, close to the Barbican. Canrnevale is the perfect restaurant for lovers of really imaginative vegetarian food, with wonderful dishes like heart celeriac and horseradish soup, risotto with squash, roasted wild garlic and saffron, Feta cheese salad, green beans and fresh peas with Salsa Verde or Kibbeh stuffed with wild mushroom, spinach and nutmeg sauce and roasted parsnip. There's a three-course set meal for £13.50 and the quality is fantastic; all vegetarian food, but the sort carnivores will also love. House wine is also fantastic value, served in half litre caraffes. Carnevale is a small restaurant in a backstreet but it is well worth hunting down as the freshly-prepared food is delicious and the service is always friendly & is a relaxed, romantic restaurant, ideal for long, lazy summer evenings.
