Using authentic British produce on a short yet effective choice of dishes, Canteen restaurant delivers high quality effortlessly. Signature dishes include sausages and mash with onion gravy, pork belly with baked apple, macaroni cheese and fish and chips and tartare sauce, although there are also the fantastic daily specials including homemade pies and fish of the day. The decor at Canteen is very minimalist and a tad 'Wagamama' with its large communal tables, but the overall effect is positive and trade seems to be going from strength to strength. A great new addition to London's home grown breed of new British restaurants.

The Canteen is a great and comfortable venu for a down to earth delicious meal, 4 of us tried it out on a Saturday night and found it to be friendly and cosy and very reasonable in price. Would go again!
