Decorated with wooden panelling and ornate ceilings, The English Tea Room at Brown's takes this quintessential English tradition to another level. As well as enjoying sandwiches and a selection of teas - including Brown's own blend - you can indulge in delights such as warm scones with champagne strawberry jam and clotted cream, passion fruit tennis balls, Pimm's jelly, strawberry tartlets and raspberry macaroons. Sink deep into a luxurious armchair, relax in front of the fire to the sounds of the grand piano, enjoy your chosen blend of tea from fine Wedgwood porcelain and select your desired delicacy from a Victorian silver tea-stand as you form part of history at Brown's Hotel. Brown's traditional afternoon tea is available Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 18:00 and at weekends from 14:00 to 18:00. Afternoon Tea at Brown's Hotel was sensational. Everything was executed to absolute perfection and the service was outstanding. I've had afternoon tea at The Ritz on several occassions, but Brown's was simply streets ahead. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.
