Expect first class French food at Brasserie Joel in the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel

Situated in the luxurious Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London Hotel, Brasserie Joel is an exceptionally good London restaurant. The location is superb, with a bird’s eye view of the River Thames and major London landmarks such as the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament. As for the food, expect classic French brasserie cuisine in the daily changing menu, which offers the very finest and freshest ingredients. Chef Walter Ishizuka is at the helm in the kitchen, with three years at Lyon’s infamous three Michelin starred Paul Bocuse Restaurant and three and a half years at Paris Ritz’s two Michelin starred Restaurant L’Espadon behind him, Ishizuka brings his wealth of experience to London. Enjoy dishes such as tournedoes Rossini with foie gras and truffle sauce; roast monkfish with chorizo, coco beans and red pepper cassoulet or roast fillet of duck and leg with polenta and roast fig. Desserts like chocolate soufflé with vanilla sauce or rhubarb macaroon with strawberry sorbet are well worth saving some space for. Brasserie Joel also offers a great value prix fixe lunch menu as well as some great pre theatre menus, useful if you are heading to the nearby National theatre or Royal Festival Hall. If you love classic French food then you’ll be suitably impressed with Brasserie Joel.
