Opened in Mayfair back in 2004, Bellamy’s Restaurant is a well-loved London restaurant serving a refined French brasserie cuisine. Patron Gavin Rankin along with Chef Stephane Pacoud and manager Luigi Burgio, all formerly of Annabel’s, have created a divine dining experience for a clientele who have the money to spend and have certainly won the hearts of even the most demanding of food critics. The dining room is a simple yet immaculate space filled with tables topped with the brightest of white linens, neutral coloured walls and a beautiful curved oyster bar but it is the outstanding menu of high end brasserie fare really makes Bellamy’s Restaurant stand out amongst London’s restaurants. Expect classic dishes such as terrine de foie gras, steak tartare, fillet of sole with oil, lemon and pommes vapeur and sliced entrecote of beef with pommes frites all cooked to absolute perfection. The oyster selection is pretty impressive with native and rock oysters and there are a few varieties of caviar to choose from too. The wine list stays loyal to France, as it should, with particular focus on Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhone.
