Belgo Centraal restaurant London is a Covent Garden favourite & attracts a diverse mix of regular restaurant diners

 

Belgo Centraal is a fantastic 'Bierhall' style restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden, specialising in Belgian style cuisine including the classical moules frites, pork & leek sausages wiith stoemp,(potato mash with Savoy cabbage, leeks & carrots) & stunning Flemmish beef stews with baked prunes & apples. There are two main dining rooms in Belgo Centraal, the 'Beer Hall' with long refectory tables and the 'restaurant' with more intimate booths, but wherever you sit, the atmosphere is always buzzy & friendly. One of Belgo's real masterpieces is its long-running 'Beat the Clock' & 'lunch & a beer for a fiver' promotions, both of which have been attracting a loyal customer base for years, as well as it's extensive choice of superb Belgian beers. Staff are efficient & a la carte prices are very reasonable, but it's really the ambience and the superb, authentic food that make this restaurant such a winner. However, be warned, Belgo's is one of the busiest restaurants in the Covent Garden area, so booking in advance is essential.

Belgo’s is simply superb. The food is fantastic and it is great value for money. In my opinion it is one of the best London restaurants. The staff are so welcoming and it is a fantastic atmosphere my friends and I really enjoy it and you'll see why when you visit!!

Belgo is a fantastic restaurant and even though we just arrived with no reservation on a Saturday night it was early and they sqeezed us in and I'm so glad they did. Fantastic service, food was superb - mussels are amazing and great for kids too. Next time I will book ahead as I think we were very lucky to get a table. Friendly staff and fantastic value for money. Thank you.

Belgos is simply superb. Great food, amazing decor and great value for money. I booked it for the 1st time here on Best London Restaurants a month ago & have been back 3 times since. You'll see why when you visit!!

My friend and I took advantage of the Belgo Centraal lunchtime special and shared the demi pot of mules and the half chicken. It was excellent value for money. The chicken was so tender and juicy and the moules were also excellent. It was very busy but the food came out quickly. Definately recommend it
