Beauberry House is a fabulous country style Georgian mansion situated in Dulwich, South London and aside from being one of London’s premier wedding venues, is was also voted as one of the top 100 restaurants by the National Restaurant Awards. Dating back to 1875, Beauberry House sits opposite the leafy Belair Park in Dulwich and is itself surrounded by immaculate green lawns. The chic dining room is known as The White Room and is a stunning space of oak floors, white walls and a huge white chandelier sitting as the centrepiece. Outside the al fresco terrace overlooks the pretty gardens. The French Asian menu is a clever combination of both cuisines and quality is outstanding. Start with duo of beef and Wagyu tartare or king crab and seaweed soup followed by pan fried scallops with cauliflower purée and vanilla foam or lamb shank with garlic mash. Lavender crème brulée is just one of the delightful desserts from the tempting list of afters. As for the wine list, it is rather extensive and includes many wines available by the glass. You really could believe you are dining in the middle of the countryside at the wonderful Beauberry House.
