A La Cruz brings the amazing tastes of Argentinean cuisine to the Farringdon area of London

From the same team that brought the amazing Buen Ayre restaurant to Hackney’s Broadway Market comes hot new Argentinean restaurant A La Cruz, found in the Farringdon area of London. After the huge success of its older sibling. A La Cruz brings the same superbly authentic Argentinean cuisine to London, just behind Exmouth Market to be precise, and features not just the parilla (grill) but its very own “Asador” (fire pit). The dining room is a large and spacious area with David Tremlett artwork adorning one entire wall. The “asador” pit is the star feature, a traditional fire pit surrounded by metal crosses where whole sides of meat are cooked in typical style. Don’t worry, glass panelling keeps the heat and smoke inside. The menu is brimming with delicious offerings with the likes of boneless beef flank (Vacio) and whole lamb seasoned Argentinean style (Cordero Entero) cooked on the asador as well as the ever popular grilled Argentinean chorizos. The wine list is excellent and comprises of many fine vintages from Argentina. A La Cruz is sure to be just as popular as Buen Ayre, in fact it probably already is.
