Housed in Paternoster Square, close to St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London, The Saint is a stylish and fashionable bar and restaurant. The local city workers flock here for the buzzing atmosphere and excellent Modern British menu. The style is simple and contemporary with a sleek dining room of mostly wood and leather and a great terrace with large umbrellas, ideal for summer al fresco dining in the city. The views are pretty incredible too, with St Pauls’ Cathedral and the London Stock Exchange close by. As for the menu, it can best be described a Modern British, with the signature dish being The Saint fish pie, served with a rocket salad. There are some great sharing platters too such as The Saint platter which includes Guinness and fresh basil meatballs, chicken and chorizo skewers, Cumberland sausages, vegetables wont.tongs, chunky chips, aioli, ketchup and crusty bread. The wine list is top class and features an extensive ion suited to all tastes and wallets. The Saint is a big favourite in this part of the city and Paternoster Square’s biggest success.
