Located in the heart of London’s Soho, Prix Fixe Brasserie is a restaurant that offers affordable French food in charming bistro style surroundings. Ruby red walls covered in vintage French posters, dark wood polished tables and chairs and chalkboards detailing the daily specials create the perfect ambience at this delightful brasserie. During the daytime the tables are filled with local business types who are attracted to the informal ambience and excellent and very well priced set lunch menus. Evenings are a more intimate affair, where pre theatres diners mingle with dating couples and groups of friends in the candlelit atmosphere and the live piano player just adds to the charm. Choose from the superbly priced set menu options or opt from the a la carte, whichever you go for, the quality of the food never falters. Based upon French brasserie fare, dishes such as steak and frites with béarnaise sauce or spatchcock baby chicken with French beans and parmentier potatoes form the signature dishes. Others well worth mentioning are the whole sea bass with medallions potatoes, olives, cherry tomatoes and aubergine and the roasted breast of duck with steamed pak choi, dauphinoise potatoes and port jus.
