Greigs is an elegant and refined classic British restaurant nestled in the heart of London's Mayfair, situated in a quiet mews between Berkely Square and Bond Street. For over 50 years steak has been the speciality of Greigs and some even go so far as to say it is the best steak restaurant in London. Founded by Alistair Greig, this sophisticated venue offers traditional British favourites such as shepherds pie or roast beef and yorkshire pudding along with a fine ion of steaks and the freshest of fish dishes to a discerning clientele. Of course they may cost almost three times as much as your local café but you are truly paying for the finest here in every sense of the word. The restaurant is stunningly presented with beautiful oak panelled rooms, thick white linens and walls lined with over 3000 bottles of the finest wines, most of them French and all seriously expensive. Greigs is typical Mayfair , naturally attracting a well off clientele, particularly Americans, and is a fabulous spot for a special occasion, and one you will certainly never forget- a true classic.
