Named after the town of Espelette in South West France, the restaurant is a beautiful space offering sweeping views over Mayfair’s Mount Street from its stunning new conservatory. The kitchen offers a variety of menus, from the very well priced Menu du Jour to the lunch and dinner menus as well as one of the finest afternoon teas in the capital. Indulge in dishes such as confit duck foie gras from Les Landes served with Williams pear chutney and chocolate grilled country bread for starters followed by a choice of salads, soups, pastas and risottos or mains like slow cooked leg of milk fed Pyrenean lamb cooked with herbs and garlic and served with Basque style broad beans, pimientos de piquillos and black olives or Irish Glenarm organic salmon from the grill. Espelette is first class in every way and is up there with London’s very best restaurants.
