Chicago Rib Shack
145 Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7PA

It made its name back in the 80's for serving some of the best American BBQ food in the capital, and now The Chicago Rib Shack is back – a stone's throw from its original Knightsbridge home. Like its predecessor, ribs, chicken and meat continue to be slow-smoked over Applewood chips in specially imported ovens along with all of the other big favourites from 25 years ago: stuffed potato skins, organic 3-joint buffalo chicken wings marinated and coated with sweet bbq or spicy hot sauce & served with blue cheese dip & celery sticks, slow smoked pork shoulder, stripped from the bone & marinated in BBQ sauce, thick cut rib steak grilled with smoked salt and of course, the legendry burgers, ribs & chicken. Chicago Rib Shack is a fun restaurant with a great menu & atmosphere for children, but grown-ups in search of a some easy eating and dishes they remember from the 80's, as well as some fab cocktails and a great choice of American whiskeys, will also be well looked after.

It's great to see the Chicago Rib Shack back. I know it's probably a bit dated, but I'm sure there are lots of people like me who not only remember it fondly 1st time round, but also quite like the odd night of sticky ribs & burgers. It's a great restaurant with good, wholesome food whre you know exactly what you get and can enjoy a few beers with some good company. It beats a lot of fancy restaurants hands down!!
