The second London restaurant opened by the Hotel du Vin, Bistro du Vin Soho is a superbly modern French bistro found along Soho’s iconic Dean Street. Found close to many of the West End’s major theatres, Bistro du Vin is a prime choice for stylish pre theatre dining and the exciting bistro style menu guarantees to impress. Expect a cool, modern dining room complete with pale olive leather banquettes, distressed oak table, butchers blocks and antique accessories such as old scales and signs, perfect for its Soho setting. The menu is completely seasonal, where diners can choose between the plat du jour and a la carte, including fish and meat cooked on the Josper Grill. Tuck into dishes such as Cornish plaice with beurre noisette, Cote de Boeuf roast confit pheasant with celeriac, prune and apple and tranche of halibut with razor clams, broad beans and wild mushrooms. The well-chosen wine list surprisingly features both old and new world wines and the “Cave a Fromage” is full of the most delectable cheeses. Bistro du Vin Soho is yet another fine culinary string to Soho’s very large bow.
